AJ was rescued from the Apple Valley shelter after being found as a stray with deep cuts across his back that went from shoulder to shoulder. Shortly after being patched up, he was diagnosed with cancer and spent the remainder of his time living out a bucketlist of adventures. He was a gentle giant - a loving low-rider who taught everyone around him about living in the moment and enjoying life's simple pleasures. No matter the obstacle, AJ was able to literally bulldoze through it or use his noodle to problem solve and Houdini his way out of rooms, baby gates, and crates. His calm presence is deeply missed, and his legacy of love and loyalty will never be forgotten. AJ, the Bulldozer, sadly passed away after his brave battle with cancer, on March 22, 2018.
