Come meet us at Griffith Park for a nice, easy 2 mile pack walk! Honorary corgis (aka non-corgis) and humans with no doggos are welcome to join us as well. If you have a dog-reactive or human-reactive dog and would like a safe space to practice walking with a pack, this is the perfect opportunity. We do suggest utilizing a muzzle if there is a chance your dog might harm another animal or human. If you need assistance with muzzle training prior to attending, don’t hesitate to reach out via email at info@qbsdr.org. If you or your dog are not used to be being around reactive dogs, please be mindful and give them space to work while we walk.
Meet us in the middle of the oval parking lot at 9am. We will wait a few minutes for everyone to park and get settled before heading to the trail head around 9:15 am. Regarding the trail itself, there is a slight incline at the start, but we take it slow so it’s perfect for seniors or those with mobility issues. If you or your corgi are unable to walk the incline, you can join the pack after the incline if you wait for us on the trail to the right of stop sign that is shown below.
If you’ve ever considered fostering or volunteering, our hikes are a great way to learn more in person about our doggos and what we need help with most.
Bring comfy shoes and water for you and your doggo. See you on the trail!
**If a hike must be cancelled for any reason, we will announce it on our social media so make certain you are following us on FB & Instagram.**
See GPS pin below for our meetup spot. We park in the oval-shaped parking lot just below the red flag. To enter this parking lot, you will need to turn left when you stop at this sign shown below.
